Take the Fairfield St exit from Piccadilly station (down the escalators or lift, following signs towards "Taxis") rather than the exit marked Piccadilly/Station Approach. On Fairfield Street, turn right and cross over London Road. Walk towards the railway arch, then immediately after you have walked under the arch, turn right onto Altrincham Street, then left onto Lower Albion Street for access to the Ferranti Building.
From Piccadilly Gardens Bus Station (10 minute walk)
Take a short walk or the Metrolink tram to Piccadilly Rail Station, and then follow directions as above.
From Oxford Rd Rail Station (10 minute walk)
Descend the station approach and cross Oxford St into Whitworth St, with the Palace Theatre on your left. After 600m you will see the Sackville St building in front of you at the intersection of Whitworth St and Sackville St. Turn right onto Sackville St and continue down Sackville St, under the railway arches, then turn left down the service road onto campus for access to the Ferranti Building. Please ask for directions at the security lodge on Sackville St if you need further directions.
